Thinking about creating a website for parents and students to access? A website is a great central location for newsletters, spelling lists, contact information and much more. Weebly is a wonderful and easy website creator that is free to use. Weebly's simple drag and drop interface allows teachers to create and publish a polished website in very little time. Here is a wonderful tutorial outlining how to start using Weebly.
Over the summer some changes have been made to our website filters. If you are having difficulty accessing a website please take a look at this video to gain access to the site. As always if you have any questions feel free to contact us here at JCISD.
A number of teachers use gaming in their classrooms to review ideas and topics, Kahoot is a tool that engages students and allows educators to create a game out of assessment. The instructor projects a question on the board and students answer the question on their devices. Students see a list of leaders based on question point values, but teachers can also export data on student responses. It’s a fun way to engage learners and best of all it’s free. To learn more about Kahoot check out their website at https://kahoot.it and as always feel free to contact us if you need any support.
